Some of the technologies DTS own are DTS 70MM, DTS Extended Surround, DTS NEO 6, DTS NEO X, DTS HD Master Audio, DTS Connect, DTS Play Wi-Fi etc. After its introduction, DTS was adopted widely for theatrical installations making it one of the most loved sound technologies. Apart from this DTS also services aiming commercial and user-based applications. In 2016, the brand DTS was bought by Tessera and changed its identity to Xperia.
