Philippine Airlines (PAL) is one of the many trade names of PAL Holding Inc. and was also known as Philippine Air Lines until 1970. PAL is the flag carrier for the Philippines, which means that they are the largest and most influential airlines in the entire country and enjoy special privileges that are allocated to them by the Government itself. Philippine Airlines was founded on February 26th as Philippine Air Lines and started providing flights for the people from March 15th, 1941.
