It was founded on April 30, 1912, and deals in the film-making industry. The founding fathers of this company are David Horsley, Carl Laemmle, Adam Kessel, Robert H. Cochrane, Pat Powers, William Swanson, Jules Brulatour and many more. This studio is headquartered in California, United States. Donna Langley is the Chairman of the Universal Studio.

This agency earns a total revenue of US$ 4.239 billion till 2011. This studio has provided us some of the world-famous movie series such as Sherlock Holmes, King Kong, Psycho, Fast & Furious, The Birds, Jurassic Park, Mr. Bean, The Mummy, Babe, The Fast and The Furious, How to Train Your Dragon, The Secret Life of Pets, American Pie and many more.
