One of the famous pay news channels in United States of America is the Fox News channel. Owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, the news channel was launched on 7th October 1996. This is a subsidiary channel of the 21st Century Fox organization. The Broadcasting headquarters of the channel is at New York and the channel is aired in approximately 86 countries all around the world and their international broadcasts consists of an extra segment known Fox Extras that gets aired during the ad breaks. The channel was primarily created by Rupert Murdoch who is currently the chairman along with Suzanne Scott being the CEO.
Much criticism has been carried out against the channel as it is accused of favoring the Republican Party which held the administrations of George W. Bush and Donald Trump. The criticism has also stated the channels to be devaluing the integrity of the overall news; however employees at Fox continued denying any bias for any particular party.
The company also has many other sister channels like Fox Business Network and Fox Broadcasting Company along with a radio channel known as Fox News Radio which provided short newscasts and talk shows that featured eminent personalities from various divisions of radio and television.
